New Support Group Info - Suffolk County

Hey everyone - My name is Kelly and I am trying to get a new support group started in Suffolk County - Patchogue Medford and surrounding area.  I know another local supprt group?? I think LIPO and SCALE are both great groups and I am not looking to take away from that.  What I plan on doing is starting a kid friendly support group that would meet either during the week during the day or on a weekend where you can bring your kids - kind of like a playgroup/support meeting.  Of course we would be there primarily for bariatric support but if your kids need you - go help them and rejoin us when you can.  My biggest problem getting to support group meetings is my kids.  So why not include them, and maybe we can change not only ourselves but give our children a healthier lifestyle.  I am totally open to all suggestions and even ideas on times and schedules.  If your interested please let me know.  I also started a group page on here -WOW (Wee Ones Welcome) Bariatric Support Group.  I look foward to hearing from you.
