Mikey, I know what you mean about not getting into weighing when we are "obese". I used to refuse the scale at the Dr.s office!       I felt I had the right!

Now I hop on and still can't believe it some days that I weigh what I do!

I love my RNY and I would do it again and again! Well, ope I won't need to.

  My name is Pam and I am waiting for a surgery date for RNY and I agree we need more NY people on this page..I have reading for the past 6 months and wondered why there is no action on this page..great idea.
I check in every few hours..I know I am a little obsessed...lol

I had my lapband surgery in 2-10.  I am 5ft 8 inches. highest wt 307.  So far I have lost about 35lbs,  I have come down 3 sizes, so I am very  happy.  I am due for a 2nd fill, I can eat a lot right now.  I am so glad I had the surgery, its going slow but steady.  The extra support will be great to have.

Bad habits have crept back in and I am kicking my a$$ for that. Now that I have dealt with the stress that was adding to the bad habits, I am working hard to get back on track.

For those of you waiting for surgery just keep searching the boards for great ideas, suggestions, recipes and feel good things!

For those of you struggling keep searching ....for the reasons mentioned above too.

I am a little over 1 1/2 yrs out and I am seeing the old bad habits kicking around.

Keep checking in and together we can do this!
