OMG that doesnt sound like the office I went too!!! I had Dr. Cole as my surgeon but he wasnt refered to me another Dr from his practice was.  I met with the Dr. I was refered to and when I left I didnt feel comfortable with him and didnt want him doing the surgery. I called the office and told them I was not happy with that surgeon and I wanted Dr. Cole and they asked me why and I said because I want my surgery to be done open and Ive heard about Dr. Coles reputation as a surgeon and I felt more comfortable wanting to meet him for the surgery.  They told me well its a 2 month wait to see him and I said thats fine l will wait the 2 months to see him and I did just that.  They didnt sound pleased with me wanting to change surgeons but its my body my decision not anyone elses and frankly I didnt care who I pissed off.

So long and behold I met with Dr. Cole and the rest is history! I love the man for saving my life and taking good care of me and I could not possibly say one bad thing about him.  Sometimes the office woman could be alittle touchy but no matter what you feel comfortable with who you want to do your surgery and with your surgeon....its a very important component in finding what works for you.  I wish you good luck in finding a surgeon.
