Lap Vs. Open bypass

I had open surgery.  I just felt the doctor can make more precise surgery if he can see the parts rather than looking at a tv screen and tubes.  What I didn't consider tho is I am prone to keloids.  My scar is about 2.5 inches and raised due to the keloiding.  It doesnt look that bad, but when I go t the beach people look at me...

I was walking around about 6 hrs after surgery.   My stomach hurt alot when I coughed and I counldt sleep on my stomach for about a year. 

If you have keloids before I would suggest going for the Laproscopic surgery.  Otherwise I have no regrets for a successful surgery.
