Blue Cross of North Eastern NY-Anyone have them too?

Hi,
 I am just starting the process to get the VSG and was wondering if anyone has had luck getting Blue Shield of NENY to approve your surgery.  I was also wondering if anyone has had Dr. Singh and how that experience was.  I am booked to see him the 24th and June, not sure how long from there he books surgeries...anyone know?

BSNENY denied me the VSG through Dr. Singh's office.  His office didn't offer to help me appeal, they offered me the RNY- which I didn't want.  I switched insurance and doctors and am now having DS down in NYC with Dr. Pomp.   Jen
