I had a consult today w Dr Holover, he practices with Dr Shawn Garber. And they do the Rose procedure. I am 7 years out and have gained some weight back. What I learned today....this procedure is still new; so there aren't that many doctors who can perform this procedure. The results are mixed. You can expect to lose 50 percent of what you have gained, so if you gained 50 pounds expect only to lose 25 pounds. On a positve note this procedure seems to stabilize the weight of most people who have had it done. Also, not everyone who gains weight is eligible for this procedure, you have to have an endoscope to see if your stomachis big enough to accomodate the surgical instrument. It definitely won't take the place of a revision. My impression was if you have had a significant weight gain this procedure probably won't help that much.
