Getting approvals from Blue Choice Option??

Hi, I live in the Rochester area and have Blue Choice Option.  I know my bariatric surgeons office submitted the paperwork before the end of December.  How long does it usually take for this insurance to process the approvals ?? does anyone know ?? or should I just call the insurance company to see where the process is ?? 

Call the insurance company and keep calling and if they dont know anything call your surgeons office see if they know something as well. Hope this helps ya out.

 I live in Rochester as well. It took me less than a full week to receive a letter saying I was approved. I would call the Doctors office to make sure they submitted and to make sure you have met all the qualifications. My first time through I had put on 7 pounds and was not approved. I had to go back to the nutritionist and loose the weight again. They had to resubmit and go to the board and all of this took a week.
