I do of course and after 7 1/2 years of working with AMCs bariatric program as both a patient and professional! Dr. T Paul Singh is a awesoem bariatric surgeon, Dr. Vanessa Denning is an awesome bariatrician/clinical nutrition MD and Dr. King (not directly affiliated with AMC) is the BEST post bariatric body contouring plastic surgeon in my eyes!!!

My choices were severely limited because I had the Duodenal Switch. My surgeon is highly skilled, and extremely caring. He also performs most other WLS. I ran into some complications (that were in no way his fault), and he has treated me like gold. His name is Dr. Michael Hill-and his partner-Dr. Moon (who does not perform the DS) is phenomenal as well.

They are located around 4 hours from Albany in Saranac Lake (near Lake Placid) at Adirondack Medical Center. I also want to mention that the nurses that work on the surgical floor at the hospital are incredibly knowledgeable in treating people who had wls-they pretty much specialize in it.

WLS is a very big decision.  Please EDUCATE YOURSELF before choosing how you wish to spend the rest of your life!
