Bring a little sunshine to a friend at Ellis having surgery!
It's easy!

Go to:  www.EllisHospital.org

on right side there is a  menu "Ellis Medicine Home"
Click on... VISITORS....
drop down menu last item.... Patient Greetings...click on it..

Information there that explains how it works.

fill out the form with well wishes for your friend.
(You need to have real name for this)

Greetings are delivered to their room during regular day hours.
They  are printed on lovely stationery and so much easier than "meaning to run out and get a card..."
Most are home before the card would get there anyway!!!

I really enjoyed getting all my little best wishes while I was in- I'm sure others would enjoy that little bit of sunshine.. also.

So if you met someone at group and got their name & date of surgery- why not send them a hello... thinking of you!!!

Jamie... You went in weeks early for your baby right? So that must have been nice getting those messages... because people weren't expecting you to deliver for some time.

I'm sure you still received plenty of nice "Hallmark" type cards after the two of you got home!!! They are the beautiful keepsakes.

Some technology is really great and makes it so much easier for people to keep in touch..

Does Albany Med have that type of service for their patients?

I have a friend who is a high-risk pregnancy #2. Going to deliver at Alb. Med. Her first baby was in the Nicu for 3-4 months. Delivered at less than 2lbs. Now she is almost 2 1/5 and the sweetest, smartest little thing.  I'm just amazed everytime I look at her!

Thankfully, this pregnancy is going much better than first... but still they need to be ready for last minute complications & doctor's on lookout for  any of  signs of preclampsia. Her delivery date I think is April 15th... so a little bit to go yet....

hope everyone at your house doing well...  You & hubby & precious baby and not to be left out... all your kitties...
