thanks for the reply

I am just rying to get settled in right now.  I find myself very grumpy because of my diet being so strict.  I can only handle one day at a time in general with all of lifes surprises, twists & turns.

Thanks for the reply

My email is:  [email protected] if you want to chat

Thanks
Lynn

Hi Lynn,
I am from Varysburg NY (east of East Aurora) and am having Laproscopic RNY with Dr Pham on 2/25.  Would love to keep in touch with your experiences & support each other!  Hope you are doing better and that things are getting easier for you.  I am excited, yet terrified ot the surgery, but I know in the long run it will be worth it.

I would like to keep in touch with other wny ers for support/discussions.
I started the pre-op diet and have horrible diahharra now. Is this normal?
Thanks...Email me and maybe we can support each other.

Hello!
I'm from Cheektowaga, (about 5 mins from Synergy).  I had open RNY with Dr. Caruana at Sister's on January 12, 2010.  Fortunately enough, i'm able to eat regular foods now, and haven't gotten sick with much of anything.  I can only eat very small amounts of course :)
I see this post was from a few weeks ago and I hope you are doing better.
I'm not sure if you are aware but there is a monthly support group mtg. at Synergy that is AWESOME and very helpful.  It's the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at 6 PM.  It's free and anyone can come.  People come and talk about their successes, their concerns, questions, people that have not had surgery and are looking into it and just friends and family members of people come too!
Well I hope all is well with you, but feel free to send me a msg. anytime and I hope things are going better for you!
