SCALE and LIPO are support groups on LI that you can join on OH...just look em up in the search or group fields....I have my surgery 4-8-09 and im down 130 lbs....how about yourself? Do you have facebook or aim? we can chat there if you want sometime

Welcome back. I myself dont get on the boards much anymore but I noticed you lived right by me and wanted to say hello. Im In hicksville. Has my band done with Geiss in Syosset.

Do you go to the support group meetings that Syosset offers?  I've never been to one and they're so close to my house too (I'm a few blocks away from Syosset Hospital).

Are you talking about Geiss or Cooperstone's meetings?? No I do not attend them for a few reasons. One is that I take dance classes Tuesday nights lol and another is that I am not a fan of Dr's support groups. I prefer peer support. I do however run a peer support group in East Meadow. If you are ever interested in coming we would love to have ya!

thats the group page on oh.... Are you on facebook. I live on facebook via my blackberry lol. I set up a page there and I update it much much more often with the meetings and activities.

The next time the group meets will be This coming thursday at Panera bread on Hempstead Tpke right off of Newbridge Rd. at 6:45pm til 8:45pm ( we usually dont get started til 7 tho. 

Thanks for the info.  Unfortunately I can't make the POSE meetings because every Thursday night I have prior commitments.

I used to pass that panera all the time...lol...I dont go out to nassau as much as i used to though... Justin I added you to my AIM, but I havent seen you on....hopefully soon, otherwise Im on FB daily...
