Gained
Hey everyone, I have been off the forums for a while now. June 26th will be my 2yr anniversary and I have noticed i have gained about 5 pds. I am having a mental break down and really don't know what to do.... I have to get back on track ASAP. I just needed to vent and if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to help....
Thanks and have a blessed day!

For me it is about being aware so I can be accountable and plan. If I fail to plan I plan to fail. I bet a 3 day journal entry on what you are eating, drinking, exercise and emotions will tell a lot! It always does for me, then based on that I identify some small goals and work on them...Usually i am not managing my emotions then I use food in ways to cope and it is the sabottaging spiral I go down.
Therapy really helped me address some of this and support groups online and in person also as well as any other grooups such as 12 step CODA or OA can also be of help free if those are issues one has. Be well.catching it at 5# is the right thing!

I am 9 months out but I know that "going back to basics" e.g. liquids for a few days, mushies for a few days, then solid protein and very little carbs can help jump start you back on track. I also just purchased a device that tracks my daily calorie expenditure (there are several devices out there) so I make it a game to see if I can match (or better) my calories burned the day before. Mine is a bodybugg (like the biggest loser contestants wear).
I was banded April 20, 2009.
258.5/194.5/159
April 8, 2009 = 258.5
April 20, 2009 = 244 lb.s (lost 14 lbs./surgery date)
First Fill May 19, 2009 (3cc's)
June 8, 2009 = 226.5 lbs. (lost 32 lbs.)
October 5, 2009 = 201 lbs (lost 57.5 lbs.)
Nov. 27, 2009 = 198 lbs. (lost 60.5 lbs.)
May 23, 2010 = 194.5 (65 lbs. lost)
