Anyone know Dr. Neal New Hartford, Ny?

Hello everyone. I'm new here and was wondering if anyone has had Dr Neal in New Hartford, Ny do the lap band? I am being reffered to him, and am kind of nervous. He takes Medicaid which is a plus for me, as i am a full time college student with no job at the moment. I was also wondering how hard it is to get approved for the surgery through Medicaid? That is 95% of my worry. Thank you to anyone *****sponds :)

I heard a rumor - and it's just that - a RUMOR that he's leaving.  Call Slocum directly and find out for sure.  I sure if you get his office, they can answer your questions before you go through the application process....

I had a consult with him.  Did not feel comfortable;  new to the field.  I had surgery with Dr. Fitzer (Graber).

Medicaid wants a 6mth supervised diet prior to approval,,Arnot in horseheads takes medicad if things dont work out

Thanks for the info. I found out a couple days ago that he does not accept my insurance. I am going to Community General in Syracuse, ny Monday. Has anyone heard anything about them?

Dr. Neal at Slocum Dickson Med. is DEFINITELY leaving in May.
