who's running this ?  Is it doc's office or any of us consumers of the lapband.


rockland county wants to know.

It is not offically supported by one doctor and most members are from different doctors. The group is splt almost 50/50 band and bypass. Everyone pre or post operation is welcome.

I might come.  is this the first meeting?

  No actually we are going to celebrate our 3rd year as a group. I went to the OH conference and spoke to other "locals" and realized that a lot of people are looking for a group. I thought posting a meeting reminder here may get some attention.
 
It is a great group and we would love you come. Everybody is welcome. Pre and post op as well as people just looking for information on the surgery. We also have a few husband/wife members.

oh cool

woow 3 years i went to a group meeting in nj (Ramsey) and 99% was gastric i couldn't relate so i never been part of a group and i will be 4 years out january.

The "leader" of our goup (Debi) is a band as well as 1/2 the members. I had bypass and am out 3 1/2 years. We also go out after the meeting for food/drinks. If nothing else, we have fun.

Where in Ramsey is there a meeting? I live in Suffern and that would be much more convenient for me and I had gastric bypass.  Please send me the info if you wouldn't mind.  Thanks.  Orangeburg is too far for me to travel at night.
