The Rye Brook Conference
At the Rye Brook conference I left my sports jacket on the back of my chair while I was dancing and went back to get it and it was gone. I looked all over and it was nowhere to be found. I have contacted the hotel on several occasions and they have checked with the crew that cleaned the room, housekeeping, security and lost and found. No one has seen it nor has the hotel been contacted by someone that might have accidently taken it.
I have posted on several boards that if anyone found it while they were unpacking to contact me. I have heard NOTHING so now I can only assume that it was stolen. I am VERY angry and bitter about this. That jacket was the first thing I bought myself when I reached my goal. I was tired of wearing Walmart crap and bought myself something of good quality for the first time in my life. That jacket meant alot to me and now it's gone. I live paycheck to paycheck and can't afford another one, and I have several occasions coming up in the next few weeks not to mention the holidays, and now I have nothing to wear. I am saddened to think there is a thief among us but there is.Whoever took it is lower than low and I wish nothing but bad things for them. At this point I seriously doubt if I will ever attend another OH event.

It's a CRAZY world out there NOW... What size and color was the Sports Jacket.... I am always at stores,thrift stores I try to find one for you....Try not to let it get you down...maybe the person needed it more.. who knows but you will get another one. Also... don't let this stop you from going to another OH.. event.. we are very lucky to have them and the support we get. Debbie
Hey Rich, I am so sorry that has happened to you! You are such an inspiration and you so ROCKED the Fashion Show, I do hope you will reconsider to attend more events in the future. It was great meeting you and I am sure it wasn't stolen, but unfortunately, discarded by the hotel staff. I will keep you in my thoughts, hoping that something comes up!!

What a shame!! I didn't stay for the Saturday Evening part so I didn't see your jacket.. I'm hoping by now you were able to get it back. I can understand your frustration. Don't blame it on the OH event as all different people attend them each year.
It was my first time there this year.. Next year I hope to stay for the fashion show.. Hope your in it next year, sorry I missed it.. lol
