I have several garbage bags filled with clothes, some still with tags on them...they range in size 26-30....In your opinion, do you think there will be any takers for such large sizes, I even have 2 coats in almost brand new condition barely worn, both size 30...I hate to lug all this stuff up there if there isnt a need...Id like these clothes to find a home rather than end up in a donation bin that turns them into rags....I also have bras that were barely worn...would ppl take those or are they too intimate to be a hand me down????

 Hi Amanda,

I think you should bring them as there will be some pre-ops and others who are still nowhere near their desired goal weight that could benefit from them.

I'm assuming that they will probably arrange any clothes not taken to be picked up by a charity and not expected to be brought home, although I am not certain of this.

Yes bring what you have! Some people might even take things for support group members who couldn't attend or family members, even? So, I think it is a great idea to bring it all!

I believe that they are arranging to have the left over items picked up and given to a charity, so ya can't lose!

Keep in mind that the clothing exchange begins at 2, so we need the clothes before that--we begin setting up at 10am...see you tomorrow!!!!!!

I am so excited, LOL

I will bring some stuff, I was going to bring all of it but since writing my post, my mom was contacted by a woman who runs a local womens shelter on LI who helps women get back on their feet and get jobs, so I will give some stuff to that shelter.  I wont feel right coming to the exchange and picking something if I didnt bring something so i will bring some of this huge pile of bags- lol...see you tomorrow also, cant wait to meet everyone...off to work I go now....ugh...

I'm bringing a ton of clothes from size 3x down to size 18.  Some of the things haven't been worn and I hope that someone can use them. I hope that someone will be bringing some size 14's that I can use!
