Re-evaluate your 2009 goals NOW!
Fall Success Habits Temperatures are falling, (in some places it's even snowing) leaves are changing color and it is time to fine-tune our fall success habits. How about a year-end success habits checkup? 1. Revisit your 2009 goals. Only three months until 2010 - are you on track for achieving your 2009 goals? Make time to study them carefully and figure out what should be reworked and what should be eliminated. Goals are not etched in stone. Figure out if what was important in January is still as important in October. Do you need to step up the pace to achieve your 2009 goals? 2. Plan ahead for the rest of 2009 and organize your time wisely. It's not too early to begin thinking ahead to the holidays. You'll be less stressed and have more time to enjoy the spirit of the season when you're not running around doing last minute things. How about taking out your planning calendar and figuring out what you want to accomplish and by when - leave yourself plenty of time for relaxing and rejuvenating. 3. Analyze what's been successful in 2009 and what you'd like to improve. Wisdom is about knowing when to change what's not working into something more productive. Motivational speaker Les Brown says, "If you keep doing what you're doing, you'll keep getting what you're getting." Are you totally satisfied with what you've produced so far in 2009? If the answer is "yes," congratulations! If the answer is no, then it's time to figure out what needs to be changed and begin making the desired changes. 4. Begin your "wish-list" for 2010. Now is the time to start dreaming BIG for 2010. What do you want to be, have and accomplish during the next year? Start a 2010 wish-list of all the possibilities for the coming year. It's your list so dream big and bold - focus on those things that will take you forward in positive and self-satisfying ways in 2010. I believe in you!!! |
