I am considering trying to lose weight on myown( I am usually quite capable). I ordered the what woul dbe part of the bariatric diet shakes 800 HMR. Can anyone tell me what the rest of the diet consists of?  I know itis something like 1/2 cup cottage cheese or a 1 cup of diet fruit juice. Anyways If someone would post that I would be thankful .  I am not quite obese enought o qualify for the surgery( thankfully) but I really need a boost i think this will be the jump start I need. Thanks in advance.

Every practice seems to have variations of diet.  While there some similarities, there are quite a few differences.

A lot of places will accept a non-surgical patient for weight loss (not all do)...and you can sit with a nutritionist to work out a diet plan.

A warning - if you go on the bariatric plan with a "normal" stomach, you will lose weight initally.  But due to having "normal" insides, you will slow and plateau.  You will be putting yourself in "starvation" mode.

Work with a good nutritionist and you'll have the same results without "starving" yourself

Well i would appreciate any variations at this point just as a base line. I am going to incorporate exercise moderately as time allows in my schedule and I am only about 70 pounds overweight. I hope that the "losing wieght initially" is the kick start I need to begin keeping it off. I completely understand the starvation mode and I want to steer clear of that effect. Thanks:)
