    I totally understand what you are going through... I just lost my dad last month (July 3rd) and it was a very difficult time! My prayers are with you and your family. 

I was with my dad til he took his last breath. He knew I was there as when I promised him we would take care of mom he squeezed my hand. I told him it was ok and that I loved him, he again squeezed my hand. Seconds later he passed. He had very little pain, thank God for that. it's been a really tough month......
