looking for a surgeon who uses the realize band

 I need some info please....

I live in the Binghamton area and have been considering the Realize band. I also work at the local hospital.Due to privacy and comfort issues I want to try not to have the surgery done here. Anyone else in the area use the realize band?

Ithaca, Syracuse, Elmira.....

I'm not sure what kind of band he uses..but my surgeon was Dr. John Mecenas in Ithaca.  You could not ask for a nicer guy and a better surgeon.  You can look him up under ...www.ithacasurgeons.com.  Good luck!!

I second Dr. Mecenas!!  :)  granted I'm pretty he doesn't do Realize. But if you decided to go with lap or GB he is the man..  

Actually just did a search on the realize website and there are only two doctors anywhere near you that does it.

Oops when I saw the title I was going to recommend Dr. T but see that's not an option....  hope you find someone you're comfortable with!

I too would of suggested Dr. T ...(he did my RNY and a few of my friends realize band....he is good) Good luck finding another surgeon who does the realize banding close to home.
