Anyone who has had....

Dr.O'Malley in Rochester? Was wondering how their program worked? I went to their website but it doesn't say too much about it,at least what I was looking for.I would like to know if their program contains all tests and the surgery in one price? I will call if I have to,but at this point I am just researching.Thanks to anyone who can help.

Not much to offer here Kim in regard to pricing--but O'Malley was my 2nd choice if it weren't for distance.  I went to one of this seminars in Corning and he was extremely thorough and took his time explaining all of the procedures and the reality of it all.  HTH --a lil.

good luck i do hear he awesome are you saying your paying cash for it? If so alot of them do it at a discounted rate

Does Fitzer or Graber do the DS? I live 25 miles away from their office.

 No..not paying cash..if I could I would and no messing with the Ins. company.I was just wondering how they bill things..if everything is all in one lump or are there stages they bill.? I am waayyyy out of the loop when it comes to Dr.'s and hospital',I haven't been in 20years..so I was curious how they billed things.I do have to pay at least 5800. out of my pocket..for my deductible,I do have that saved up..I am just hoping that I can get this all done before Jan. of this year or I will have to start over and I might as well have paid out of pocket.Thanks again for the info.

Hi Kim i only had to pay 1,200 which was for hospital everything else was covered.

I had surgery January 21, 2009 with Dr. Omalley in Rochester at Highland Hospital.  He was wonderful and the process a breeze.  His staff is very helpful and my hospital stay was great.  The program from start to surgery date was about 6-8 months in length due to the nutritional education you go through.  Everything was covered under my insurance except copays.  I know of atleast 6 or 7 others that used O'malley and are very happy.  In fact one friend had her surgery just 4 hours ago and is doing great.
