1199

Good Morning everyone,I wanted to know if anyone have 1199 and was trying to get wls ,What was your expierence with them??.I have 1199 and i know that they cover WLS.If you have dealt with them whether its good or bad or nay tips please do share.

I have 1199 seiu and they took close to 2wks to process it and approved..They usually don't deny unless its not med necessary and your pcp should have cleared you for wls...good luck and dont worry just be strong and ask questions......et

Thank you for your input,I'm glad that you had a good expeirence with them but i want to have  VSG and i know that they only cover Rny and Lapband...I guess that i will take it one day and see what happens.

I HAD 1199 SEIU when i had other surgery a number of years ago and they were good. If my husband didn't have his GREAT Insurance- I would try to work at a place that has 1199!  (right now only doing a small private duty job)

2 weeks for approval isn't bad at all- some people have real nightmares with their ins.

2 weeks for approval thats not bad,I know that 1199 give you great coverage its just that i wanted to have VSG and i know that they only cover rny and lapband.Maybe i will be luck and have them change there plans...Thank you for your input.
