New - am restarting

I live in Vestal NY.  I am in a very supportive weight loss program.  I'm going to have a revision of my RNY.  At least thats the plan.  I've been so angry with the failure of my RNY, I'm almost scared that there's a possibility hell can actually be in my history.

If you're form the Soutnern Tier, or even if your not, and know what I'm going through, I could use the support.  I"m almost heading through this journey alone.  There are people around me, but I can only count on me, my support team, and people who understand the oppression of obesity.

Hi Ann, welcome to the board.  I am from Endicott and just starting my journey.  I am looking to have the LapBand done.  I am really sorry that you didn't have success the 1st time around with your RNY, that is one of my biggest fears.

Hello I live in Conklin and have just been approved for my surgery in Horseheads. I dont need a revision but I understand how you could be angry. Im just angry in general that I got as big as I did!  But Im always around to bounce fustrations off of if you need a venting spring board from time to time. =) I am glad to hear that you have a very supportive weight loss program.  We all need it when we are going threw this!! But just wanted you to know your not alone! Hope you have a great day!!

Since I entered my new hopeful situation I've had all kinds of feelings.  I don;t remember doubts.  I guess that comes from the 'years' of worry. Well, you don;t need to hear anything that is not happy because it really will change your life forever.  I wish you the best of luck!

Cowtown huh?  I think I grew up there!   Anyway, sounds llike you have done a lot of ground work and have gotten things rolling forward.  Keep goin.

Ann, I live in Newark Valley and had my RNY done up in Albany on April 22, 2009. Let me know how I can help.  I know there are support groups in Vestal, I'm not sure of the dates. I know I have to start attending them.

Hi, And thanks for writing!  You are right, there are support groups and the one in Vestal is tonight at 7pm at the Lourdes Building on the parkway.  It's the site just past the old Yesterday's Resturant.  Infact, you'd turn at that light go up the street and than take a left.  Go down that street and make another left into the parking lot.  It's open to all pre and post ops and they say the are open to anyone.  Hey, I'll let you know how it goes!
