Hi Lin! Welcome!!  What a wonderful present to yourself! Good for you!!  I have heard nothing but good things about FLWLC and Dr. Weiss.  I believe he once was associated with the Upstate Bariatric Center in Syracuse but then branched out on his own -   What a wonderful tool this WLS can be! It's helped me get healthy (still have a way to go but am doing much better) (I'm 54 by the way)(I'm no spring chicken!!)Anyhow, best of luck to you-you will be amazed!!! Glad to hear your hubby is so supportive - believe support is SO important to us!! Take care and keep us posted!! Welcome to OH Lin Im Kelley.  This website is a great source of information and to meet people going threw the same things you are. Ask as many questions you have and if you need a boost of reassurance we are all here to help you. I have met alot of great people from this site and from group meetings. I havent had my surgery yet but the dates scheduled for August so Im excited. Congrats on wanting to make a change in your health for the better!!

Im just south of watertown, ny. I am having rny in october. Dr. Simon is my surgeon. Glad to meet you here and hope we can learn with you as well!!

I agree!! Are you having the RNY? I know where you are in Henderson...

You will love the new nutritionist that is in Syracuse now.. her name is Jessica, and she was with Dr. Weiss, but left to go back to Dr. Simon because it was closer to her home.
