Perhaps it is a blessing that you demonstrated you are indeed human, and subject to the same frailties as everyone else.  Everyone in that audience identified with you at that moment.  Yes, I would have felt some embarassment too, but that is also a human condition.  Wow, you are REAL!!  I have a feeling you did a tremendous service to the group you were speaking to.  Blessings to you.

Don't ever apologize for being human.  I am sure it added a much more sincere touch to your presentation!  Don't be so hard on yourself.  You gave a bit of your self to that presentation and I am sure everyone felt it.  Good for you!

You will be alright dear and you shouldnt feel that embarassed because you shared something personal that evidentally meant alot to you. To show emotion is human its when you dont show how you feel people tend to wonder. I imagine you left a sincere impression on those people and got them thinking =).
