Question for ya,,,does your insurance require you to do a 6mo supervised diet. or they want documentation that you have made attempts to lose weight in the past 6 mo to a year???  let me know...

They want to see that I have made "significant attempts" at losing weight.  They no longer require a 6 month physician supervised diet.

my ins requires that 6 month supervised diet and it is hard --i lost 8 pounds in the first month and have gained 2 of them back --what to do from here?

the letter that my primary dr wrote out for the insurance company showed how long I was trying to lose weight, on low cal/low fat diet he put me on, gym attempts ect.  my ins company was happy with that because it spanned over 3 years of attempts
