I am having my TT at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City by Dr. Schulman next month.  Anyone have experience with this hospital?

Please share your experiences.

Thanks!

I had my RNY done there. Let me tell you those nurses are God sent. Some hospitals the nurses are just there to do their job, when I was there I could tell I was generally cared about. They get you what you need when you need it. They are always available. And bedside manner is superb.

I remember one expierence 3 days out...I would not eat ANYTHING (my surgeon puts you on soft/pureed from day 2) but applesauce. Well for lunch there was none and they weren't serving any. Well my nurse...bless her heart..searched the entire hospital to find it. Eventually got me a cup from the kiddie ward. I was soooo touched by this. Oh and one male nurse...didn't even work my floor, saw how much pain I was in when trying to walk one day. Well he dropped what he was doing and kept me company, talking to me and just plain old being nice, just to make my walking not so gruesome. And he did it two more times after that (but then again I was the baby of the floor being the youngest lol).
