Support Group in Rochester

 IS there a support group here in Rochester area? I am looking to maybe go to a meeting or 2 if I am able to that is. I think it would help me with my research on this road I am on.

There are support meetings held each month at Highland Hospital. They are held on a Tuesday evening but I can't remember which Tuesday of the month that they are held on. The support group is called Monarch and they also have an on-line Yahoo Group that you can join. It's called Monarch_support_group - if you search for it on the yahoo group page you will find it and you can join it. They will then send you meeting reminders and the topics that will be discussed. You could also call Highland's Bariatric department and they can give you the exact time and date of the meetings. Their number is 341-0366. Sorry I wasn't able to give you more specific answers.

What kind of surgery are you thinking of having?

 I do not know which one I will end up having. I keep leaning towards the RNY but not quite certain. Depends on what my doctor will have to say once we have insurance.
