Im finally Home!!

Well after a very long 8 days in the hospital, I am home and I seem to be doing very well...It was a rough past week but I made it!!.....I had the surgery (RNY), I had to spend a couple extra days in ICU due to heart issues, they moved me to a room and the day before I was scheduled to be discharged they discovered I had a collapsed lung and pnumonia....so that delayed me, I am home now, my lungs arnt exactly 100 % yet, but Im getting there.  Good thing is I only had one week left of this clear liquid diet!!  People ask me if I have lost any weight yet, I just tell em I dunno, I have not weighed myself and I have told myself I will only weigh myself once every 2 weeks, I refuse to become obsessed with the scales.  Thanks for your prayers everyone!!

You have really been through a lot. Glad to read you are doing well now. Make sure you rest, drink and walk as much as possible. And good for you for not being a slave to the scale ... it's a hard thing to do. But it's the way to go if you can!
