any 15 to 20 yr post ops out there?

I see and hear great results related to wls from folks that are up to 8 years post op, but it is unsettling to not be able to read or hear from folks that have 15-20 years of wls experiences, especially with some form of the lap band. Anyone out there that can share some info?  

 the lap band was not FDA approved in the USA that long ago. That is why you dont hear anything... You should check the boards for some other countries. 

I had the VGB was was the predecessor to the lap band in 1987 and have unfortunately regain all of the 100 lbs. I lost back and am now checking into a revision (DS Hopefully).
