Frustration!!!
Hi my OH friends,
I have to take a minute to vent and I appreciate your support. This week I attended my final PCP appt and was planning to submit my claim for WLS to my insurance company. On Monday I called the bariatric coordinator who advised me to fax her the clearance form and the PCP notes. I faxed them to her on Tuesday. On Wednesday she called to tell me that I didn't send the bloodwork. What bloodwork, she never asked for bloodwork in the first place! So I went back to my PCP on Thursday and got a copy of the bloodwork which I then faxed to her.
But, this morning the bariatric coordinator called me and told me that my blood work was missing the hepatitis panel and needed to be redone. ARRGH! Luckily my PCP fit me in today and took more blood. But now I have to wait another week for results! Which means that I can't submit to the insurance company for another week.
Intellectually I know that one week is not a big deal, but I have been so anxious to do this that is feels like forever! I just want it over with already.
Thanks for listening.

Christina,
I am sorry to hear of your setback. What a pain in the @$$!! I know it is frustrating but Better they told you to go back and redo it then submitting it to ins and having it denied causing a whole long wait.
I hope to hear good news from now on!

Ps... I hope you make it to the bowling thing!!! I cant wait to see you!

Christina:
I hear your frustration and disappointment. It is good to acknowledge it, feel it and move through it.
Intellectually we know thing happen for a reason, that does not mean emotionally we can not feel differently! Honor your thoughts and feelings! Good for you, and i share your pain having my surgery rescheduled 3x before I got it from late August to early October in 2002!
No matter what anyone said I was more than ready and upset and sad and angry and frustrated and disappointed etc........but I managed through it! Hugs!
