I was very sorry to hear about the passing of Dr. Thad Boss from Highland Hospital Bariatric Group this past weekend.  He was a talented surgeon who was loved and respected by his patients and colleagues.  Please remember his wife and children in your prayers.

It's never too late to have a happy childhood.--Berke Breathed.

That is awful! I started seeing Dr. Boss in August 2007 to have my surgery but he wasn't in my network for insurance so I went to someone else. He was a great Doctor! I will absolutely send my prayers to his family during this VERY difficult time!

Thank you for posting this Ann!

I also had my life saved by Dr. Boss.  I saw him every time I went down for an appointment.  He was a man with a wonderful caring personality and I will never forget him.    The obituary just says that he passed peacefully in his sleep.   Does anyone know anything else about the cir****tances.. i didn't realize that he had been ill..

I'm so sad to hear this.  Dr Boss wasn't very old--maybe 40?  I had heard that he had his appendix removed several months ago, but heard nothing else about health concerns.  My heart goes out to his family.  I owe him my health and possibly my life.
