Good Monday Morning..  Today there is so much to be grateful about.. Today I am grateful..  For and unbelieveable weekend.. For meeting up wth Teresa in New York and having a personal tour guide.. Thank you so much.. I owe you... I am expecting my $4,000 rock necklace soon..  For getting to meet Anthony Vega.. Who I helped with his surgrey.. I swear you look good. kid.. I say that in my best New Jersey accent..  For once in a life time happenings..  For being alcohol free.. That four years ago today I was blessed with this life saving surgery.. I look back now and there is no comparing the life I am living today versus the one I had.. I love you all for all the support and help.. I know that everyone of you had a part of my surgery and without you all I am nothing.. I am a very blessed man and I know that..

Isn't there though? I just came back from my 1st 1.5 mile post op walk. I used to walk 3-4 miles daily until my arthritis started really getting me down and put my Right foot into a boot for weeks. I just walk on the road.. but I live in the country so it really is a nice walk. Today I was reminded of that as I was able to walk that walk without being breathless. I am just under 3 weeks out RNY.. open. I am healing wonderfully. Another thing to be grateful for. Today at some point... I will be a Great Aunt! I am so excited... the sun is shining.. and it is a beautiful summers day and baby Gabrielle will be born.  Life is truly good...
