Have you looked in the medicadre/medicait posting at the top of the message forum?  I think the nearest might be Syracuse.

when you select the new york page the very first post is a list of surgeons that take medicare/ medicaid

The longest of Journeys start with a single step

Welcome to Rome! I do not know what insurance they accept beside mine, but I can say that I've had a good experience with the Bariatric program at Slocum-Dickson in Utica. The other doctors in Utica are Drs. Graber and Fitzer. If they don't accept your insurance, try the docs in Oneida or Syracuse. Best of luck to you! Jen

the offices I went to in Horesheads.. Drs Cole, Moon, McKane, and Saddasavahm (sp) are a Bariatric Center of Excellence . There were people in my 4 hr sessions that had medicare and medicaid. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with their offices and staff and as well I am typing you from the Hospital in Elmira... and the service here is just fabulous.
