Hi! I think I'm messing it all up!  I 've lost 67 lbs but nothing more in the last 3 weeks plus!  What am I doing wrong.  Can anyone advise me??  I don't think I'm getting my daily protein in and am trying on the water .  I have recently developed a habit of having some lo-fat ritz crackers for a snack and an occasional mini hersey bar(snack size). Do I have to give up carbs all together and do I just eat protein only ?? I'm really sick of eggs!  I sometimes will have a snack size Special K protein bar at work.  Is that bad? Please help- I want to see the pounds start coming off agian!   Thanks for any advice!

Hi there!  We actually have the same office of doctors.  Mine is Fitzer.  Love him!   I have had times where I was 'stuck' for a few weeks or so.  What I normally do when that happens is to change something.  Either I cut out the sugar free fat free ice cream bars or I will exercise a bit more or something like that and within a day or so it usually jumps the weight loss again.  I think our bodies get 'bored' and stagnant when we do the same thing everyday so changing something usually helps me.  I hope it helps you!  Blessings!

We all go through the stalls - it's normal - our bodies just need a jolt once in a while. You don't have to give up carbs but maybe cut them out for a little while (or at least the crackers) & see what happens. Try exercising or walking a little more that might help too!! I am at my monthly stall so I try to pay attention during this time the best I can & I just started going to Curves in addition to my walking so I am hoping that helps!! Good luck!! You'll get through this - it's all normal!!!  Cece

Totally normal...we all go through the stalls at different stages....Dont laugh but whenever i started to stall i used to eat lots of strawberries......i dont know if it was in  my head or what but it seemed to have broke my stalls....and i dont think i was the only one there were others here on the boards when i was early out that believed in the power of the strawberry as well lol...........

I had lots of plateaus....its normal...I found if I upped my calories a little (sounds strange) but, it worked for me.  Keep the faith...weight loss will equal out.   Rosemary 277/159/150

I dont know if I stalled or if I am just quitting....but I can't keep solids down. Not even semi-solids. sometimes not even broth (chicken broth)...

Tim, you may have a stricture!  That is what happened to my mom.

I too seem to have alot of stalls,,I guess you all say it's normal on here.  I drink alot of coffee and have wondered many times if this has anything to do with anything???  I've wanted to ask this question before but don't really like to post too much.  Seemed like a good time...I feel like I'm doing well with everything as far as getting in the protien and the water.  My weight loss has slowed so much that I don't even enjoy getting on the scale anymore.  I exercise atleast 4 days a week and when I can't make the gym I walk outside for atleast 3 miles.  Looks like I too will try the strawberries :)  Thanks for all your help OH...I don't generally have to post anything,,you guys are great with all your questions and support.  Thanks everyone!!

Shake up your food plan a bit and add an extra day or two of exercise or activity. Cut out the Ritz for a few days and see what happens. Bet that the scale will move.
