Yesterday's Doctor's Visit

I went to see Dr. Singh Yesterday to get my staples removed. My last pre-op weigh in was 497.5..... when I was in the hospital...I think it was a monday.....I weighed 522.5...... Yesterday.....481.2 40 lbs in a week???? LORD HAVE MERCY!! NO wonder I feel so messed up inside! I know lots of it is fluid....but WOW!

Good for you Tim. I know that I was 10 lbs in the hospital and that freaked me out...  what  a great start for you!!

I made an appointment with Dr. Singh  myself - maybe he can work on me!

Dr. Singh can work on just about anyone...but...as Dr. Singh and so many others say...he can operate on my stomach..I have to operate on my head. He is meaner than snot before surgery..but he is so cool POST-OP

WOW is right...that was alot of fluid....I hope you are feeling better...just remember not to overdo and take time to recover. Rosemary

Isn't it freakish the amount of fluid our bodies retain after surgery? Congrats to you!!! You are probably going to see losses like this for a while... ok, maybe not 40lbs at a time but get ready to be surprised & amazed!!! You are headed for greatness!! Keep up the great work!!! Cece

Tim, I was in the waiting room at your appointment ( I was the other fat dude) lol. I was gonna introduce myself but was not sure that that that was your or not until they called your name. Congrats on the number. I know the happiness u felt when u looked at that scale. And you are right about Dr. Singh. He is a no nonsense guy but then u realize he is doing it for your benefit.

Same here...but it is kinda...I don't know....kinda weird...LOL....Hey, I am Tim..I am a bariatric patient....oh,. you aren't?? Mea Culpa....LOL The only thing that kept me from talking to you was the fear that you were NOT a bariatric patient....
