Are you talking to me???
OMG you guys - I haven't had a chance to share this but since I have time now I have to!!!
I'll preface the story by saying that I am a hopeless romantic & Valentines Day has always been a big deal to me (my mom used to make a big deal out of it too so I guess that's where it started) - the little gestures mean a lot to me & I do dread it during the years when I am single (like now!). So I was not looking forward to going to work & being around all of the girls I work with who have thoughful husbands, etc!!
Well... I take the bus to work & drive to a nearby park & ride every day & Thursday was no different except I got there earlier than usual! There are 2 busses I can choose from & since I was early & it was cold I decided to take the first one that came. So, as I get on the bus this gentleman lets me get on first - Lady's first he says - nice to know chivalry isn't dead!!! Then this guys proceeds to hit on me!! At first I thought I was imagining things (it's been a long time ya know) but nope, it was for real!!! HOLY COW!!! I had been talking to another woman who I have seen before & she mentioned something about me not parking in my garage yet (old story but she was involved it in) & I said no because I hadn't finished cleaning it out yet & this guy says that I should get my other half to do it for me. Now me being totally oblivious to where this coversation was going said "There is no other half, I am whole on my own!" & chuckled. He then replies "What do you mean a pretty girl like you isn't married? then I said, laughing, "Yeah, hard to believe isn't it?"! Well needless to say the conversation continued until he got off at his stop!! When he got off I was like - What the heck was that?... Did what I think happen just happen? There has been a standing joke with me & my friends... I have always said that if a guy is interested I'd need to be hit over the head with a brick... the ones I think are interested always aren't & vice versa!!!
We didn't exchange names or numbers (I am a little leery of giving info out to total strangers & for good reason) but he knows I ride the bus so if he's interested he can find me again. Needless to say my V-day started out on a good note!!! My friends asked me if I thought he was cute - he wasn't too bad but his teeth were all yellow & stuff - I know it's a shallow thing but I have always noticed smiles & dental hygiene is so important. I am an open person though so we'll see!!! Hey - it could just be a one-time occurance that made what would've been a miserable depressing day partly sunny!!!

Thanks Maryellen!! I do plan on enjoying it for all it's worth!! It's a new concept so-to-speak & I do need practice after all!! 
Hell, a couple of guys at work (married but I've known them for 20+ yrs) told me I was hot the other day!! Yeah, ok maybe they need my glasses but it was nice to hear!!!
I agree on those white strips!! It's just I notice smiles first - crazy I know but everybody has their "thing"!!!
