I'm so happy for you.  I'm sitting here with tear in my eyes thinking about how much my band has changed my life!  Those of us who are so fortunate to have been approved and completed our surgeries are truly blessed.  I walk around so sad for some people who I know will have health problems down the road due to the excess weight they carry, including my sister.  At this point she is well over 300 pounds.  My sister had a hip replacement 8 years ago and has been limping for some time now because it's bothering her, not to mention her knees.  I have given her information (when she approached me) for Dr. Ren in NYC where she lives.  I hope she considers surgery.

My co worker had the surgery and literally came back after a week (we are computer programmers) cause she didnt want anyone to know she had had it. I had 6 weeks s/t disabililty and took all 6 , but honestly could have gone back to work after 3 comfortable.

I go back tommorrow after 12 days -I'll let you know.  I do sit a lot and only work PT so that is why I mad that choice. Other than tiring out thru the day I do feel fine.

Yes, I work full time desk job, no lifting or anything, the most tiring part is driving 30 min. each way. I normally work 830 - 430 but want to see if i can not take lunch and leave earlier so that will help. I am thinking of going back the Monday after the surgery that would be two days short of being 3 weeks. Of course if doctor approves. Thanks for your help.
