I had Medicaid HMO (Blue Choice Option).  Had NO problem being approved ... My paperwork was submitted on a Thurs afternoon and was approved on Monday.  Did you call Dr. O's office???  They are very, very helpful.  I'd be surprised if he doesn't take Total Care.

Hugs,

Annette

I will call tommorow....Thanks for your help...I am praying this works out...I've had insurance, gone to start the process, lost insurance, got a new job, but couldn't get the time off...ugh....it's been quite a journey so far!, but nothing worth having is ever easy, so I am taking that as a sign.  And I finally got the courage to try belly dancing...I have my first lesson on Monday....wish me luck, and thanks for your help!!!

Best,

BK

Well, I wish anyone luck who has the courage to belly dance! (LOL)  I started looking into gastric bypass in 2001 and didn't have it until 2006 ... It was worth the wait.  I'm glad I waited b/c I truly wasn't ready before.

Hugs,

Annette

Thanks!, I figured it would be good to start something, and I think it would bring back a bit of what I lost of myself...I truly think I am ready, to start the process.

Have a great day!

Best,

JK

I have straight medicaid and Blue Choice Option (managed care medicaid program).  Dr O'Malley and Dr Boss at Highland Hospital accepted my insurance.  Highland is a Center of Excellence which is necessary when using medicaid/medicare.
