Trying again...Other Rocklanders?

Looks like my other post got somehow screwed up. Such is the story of my life....LOL. Anyhow, I went to my surgeon's support group meeting last night, and every other person there was banded. ( Not trying to start a flame war...banding is great, just not what I did)I had an RNY 6 weeks ago, and would love to find a group that has at least some RNY'ers in it. Is anyone aware of a group in Rockland or close that has some RNY patients in it?

OOPs I just responded to the wrong person regarding 'Rockland Co.'  LOL    VBG did you go to the support group at Good Sam?  I am planning to thought it was the last Thursday of this month.  I went to one a couple months ago but not one since I've had my surgery.  When I went there were many RNY'ers there as well as Bandsters. 

No, I went to the one at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ...that's where I had my surgery. But I'd love to go to the one at Good Sam...when and where is it?  BTW, my name is Debbie. Will you be at the meeting this time?

Hi Debbie, Sorry to take so long to reply!  I have had my bestfriend visiting me from California! we are having so much fun!   As for the Support group at Good Sam the next one is on Sept. 26th at 7pm.  In the auditorium.  What you should do is go in the front door and ask at the information desk and they will direct you there.  Its not too hard to find.  I am diffinately going to be there. My name is Sandra you've got my picture on here,  to go by.  Look for me and we will sit together!
