i probably wouldnt drink but then i havent drank in 10 yrs so thats me but i would definetly eat like i was going to the chair... thats what i did 3 days prior to surgery..i had all my favorite things that i knew i wouldnt be having for a while......... you will eventually want to have a drink after surgery but from what im told you get  drunk really fast but then sober up just as fast!!!!! so why bother hahahaha ......just follow what your surgeon tells you and you will have an uneventful surgery and a letter perfect recovery!!!!!!! remember walk walk walk and water water water

Hey Lisa, Good luck tomorrow.  No, you didn't do anything wrong--we're lucky (Garber-Holover patiets) that our only pre-op diet is clear liquieds the day before. Looking forward to your posts when you're home & on the road to a speedy recovery. hugs,
