Late Dumping Syndrome
Well, here's one for the books. Dr. Garber emailed me back today, and he said that he thinks I have late dumping syndrome. That's what Dr. Holover said last night too.
Dr. G. said to keep track of what I eat and to stay away from carbs. The only carbs I eat are fruits & veggies (well, not too many veggies yet,) so he said to stick w/berries. No peaches!
He didn't think it was a new or the same stricture, as I am able to eat solid food--but if that changes to let him know right away.
I have to go look up tomatos to see how they rate on the carb index--I finally have one turning red on the vine.
Who ever would have thought I'd be dying for tomatos instead of ice cream?

For me it is right away, I start to not feel so well. I am a little over 2 years out and not much bothers me BUT if I have to much fat it can take until the next morning and then I get the dumping syndrome feeling. (strange) That is just how my body acts and plays that out, we are so different with how we deal with things.
