Something STUCK????
Hi Dana,
I am 23 days post-op and that happened to me the other day. I thought I was having a heart attack!! It was very painful!! I started feeling like I was going to throw up (sorry). I did, then I felt better.
Did you try drinking something? I notived when I get that feeling I tend to burp alot. Maybe that would help??
Wish I had more advice for you.

I am 10 and a half weeks out, and I remember that feeling very well. I too had to throw it up(sorry). It seemed to be the only way that I could get relief. I would slowly sip on some water( dont gulp, whatever you do). I think it is just that tuna is very heavy and stays in the pouch for a long time. I hope this helps, unfortunately it does happen in the first month or two, but I promise it gets better. Good luck Hugz Tina
I have had problems with tuna and chicken and I didn't start with them until 4-5 weeks out. Yes, throwing them up right away was the only was I could relieve the pain. The idea of drinking something warm was probably a very good idea. Be careful...and avoid "firm" meats until you are a little further along....Good Luck...
