Fat Dress

Just wondering if anyone knows of a store or stores, other than the Avenues and the Lane Bryants that have size 24 and over?  I am looking for a dress that is somewhat original, meaning all the "fat girls" won't be dressed the same.   Even if its a boutique. Thanks, Tatie

I don't know what area you are in, but you can look online and see if there is a Catherine's near you or Dress Barn.  Catherine's is geared to the larger woman and the Dress Barn has a section for larger women.  Most of the chain stores carry sections for larger women too.  Target, K-Mart and Macy's all have sections for plus sizes.  Again, do a google search and see what's out there in your area. Good luck with your search, Sue

You have to stay in shape. My grandmother, she started walking five miles a day when she was 60. She's 97 today and we don't know where the hell she is. - Ellen DeGeneres

You can always try e-bay.  Believe it or not, most of my shirts that I wear to work came from e-bay.  I also bought a nice basic black dress on ebay a couple years ago that I wore to my son's wedding.   Diane...........

I hear the names Lane Bryant and The Avenue and I get cold chills---I HATE THOSE STORES! There is a FABULOUS boutique in Brooklyn called Lee Lee's Valise. They care amazing designers so you aren't dressed like every plus size woman in the world. I posted more info on the main forum for you. It's worth the trip to Brooklyn and your not only going to find a wonderful dress your going to see designers design for plus size women who want to be dressed as hot as their straight sized friends.
