I AM HOME and You Folks are THE BOMB!!!
Thanks you all for the sweet well wishes, I just finished reading them below and you had me in tears! I'm so glad to be able to call you friends!
I am Ready To Rock
, Dolls! I can't say this enough, GET THE EPIDURAL if they offer it!!!! did and have not had a single second of pain from the surgery or incision sites- NONE! It just blows me away! I did have some serious gas pain in my left shoulder that would bring me to tears, but it was pretty intermittent and really only happened if I tried to lay flat. SO I am borrowing a recliner for a few days until that passes on through. And the more you can walk in the hospital and at home, the faster that passes as well. Drain came out today before I left, so don't have to mess with that either!
And as you already know, Jen Halliday and Collette (momsgrouchy-don't ya just love that name??!!!
) came to visit me in the hospital. That was an extra special treat because since we live almost 1.5 hrs from the hospital and my hubby coaches baseball, I told him to just keep the kids on their routine and try to keep them busy so they wouldn't miss mommy so much, rather than coming back all the way down there. And they are both just dolls! Jen is over a ear out and looks GORGEOUS, and had tons of helpful information to share, such an encouragement! And Collete is just over a month out and has already lost something near to #50! She looks fabulous!
I think because I haven't had any pain from the incisions, it's still really hard for me to believe I'm actually on the other side of this!!! Heee...I never thought I would ever enjoy chicken broth as much as I am right now!
Thank you all for the sweet well wishes and prayers,I know how much they help. And for those with an upcoming surgery, Stoke Yourselves! Attitude is sooooo important. Be confident in your doctor, in the process, in the aftercare an most importantly, in your decision!
LOVE YOU ALL!
Laurie

Congrats, Laurie! You make it all seem so easy...thanks for the encouraging pm too...although I am still nervous.Does Dr Moon give you a choice of how to be put out?Is that what the epidural is for or is it for pain?Doesnt epidural's sometimes make your legs numb?Im so confused...Are you feeling hungry at all?
Im sorry...Im kind of rambling, lol! I just have so many questions!
Im happy for you...keep us posted on your progress!
