I'm home
Welcome home and I'm glad you're doing fine! I've been lurking and following your story because I'm basically in the "same boat" as you were. I have a slip and going over to the "other side" (RNY) because the damaged caused by my slip band needs staples to repair my stomach anyway, so after alot of soul searching I decided to let my MD convert me over . I'm having an endoscopy on Friday 6/22 because the reflux has been so bad that the gastroenterologist put me on 3 meds! I already had an abdominal sono to check for stones and I'm happy to report my gall bladder is stoneless! Please keep me posted on your progress because to be honest I'm scared sh@tless, but I LOVE and trust my surgeon so that is a BIG +.

Karen,
Welcome home! I'm happy to see you were able to post; it's a good sign, although right now my feel not so terrific.
One thing I recall is being SO hot. I was told it was from the pain meds. In the hospital, both my roommate and I were boiling hot so they brought us a big oscillating fan. It didn't help at all!
That first shower will feel heavenly, even though the drain will be a nuisance. Make sure you tape it to your body very well!
Keep me posted, my "Angelette" !
Hugs,
Karen
Welcome home Karen!
Hope you are feeling better each and every day!!!
hugs,
Britt
