I don't want to gross anyone out, but I am having like a mini-period, I had my regular cycle 10 days before surgery, surgery 6 days ago and now I am having some light bleeding...don't know if I should hit panic mode or not...did anyone else go thru this??

Yes, it's normal. You may be off cycle for a while until your body catches up with your major surgery. But just let the surgeon know anyway. Keep track.

I feel for ya hun.   I called it a mini one too.  Mine ended like 3 days before surgery and then all of a sudden here we go again.  I am on my THIRD mini one in a month.  My PCP said it is from my body being out of whack and surgery.  Also, losing some weight through my body back into OVULATING   Hee hee.  I am not ready though...not for a while, lol No worries...it just insult to your injury, lol Lots of love babe!

Yup, it's normal.  I had a major surgery, got my period for the 2nd time in 2 weeks.  Had 2 revisions to that surgery, same thing.  Got banded, same thing.  Guess what I'll be packing to bring w/me to the  hospital? Karen

As has been said, it's the body changing after surgery.  I had a normal period, then my 2nd after surgery lasted 10 days.  I told my surgeon and he said to keep track and if it continued, I should see my gyno.  But it leveled out after that and went back to the normal cycle.

Me!  I haven't had a period in over 2 years due to the Mirina IUD I have.  I have been spotting and crampy.  Darn it!  lol
