I am really sorry to hear that you have experienced this.  I hope this isn't the road I am headed down... I wonder if there is some nerve damage because my pinky toes on both feet were numb for some time.  The numbness started with the side of the foot, went away... Then my pinky toes on both feet were numb for quite some time.  The numbness is just starting to go away and I am nearly a month out of surgery.  Really strange.

Hi S,  I am down approximately -106 lbs and do have discomfort in that area as well but not cronically.  It hasn't been severe enough for me to complain to Dr. Ahmad about.  I have read previous posts  stating that it was normal.  At times it hurts more than others.  You should tell Dr. Ahmad about it and see what he says. Regarding the numbness, I once read about a WLS patient having a copper deficiency that numbness was affiliated with.  Maybe you can google that to find out more info. Maryellen:)

I think I remember having some trouble with that for a short period of time.  But it is totally gone now.  I think that after a while your body adjusts and gets used to not having the fat in that area to give padding for that bone.  But as I said my pain is gone,  so hopefully yours will too.
