Surgery in 10 hours....
Hi. I'm new here.
My surgery is in just 10 hours (7:30am on Tuesday, 5/15). I am very nervous. Very, very nervous.
What if something goes wrong? I did fairly well on the pre-op instructions, but I was not perfect. Self-sabotage. Old habits die hard.
Any people around here from Buffalo?
I can't wait to drop weight and be able to go out an play sports... hike... bike ride... go jogging... rollerblade... join a volleyball league; maybe a softball league. Deep down, underneath the excess poundage, there is an athlete dying to break out.
Please let me live through this. Please let me be strong. Please let this go really, really well.
hi, jen
You will be fine you will have a wonderfull outcome and be at home in no time. and you will be loosing weight real soon. i was going to have surgery with dr posner but switched drs. how long did it take you from your first 3 hore appt to get to surgery day? I live in williamsville. i did meet dr forbes at seminar and she seemed really nice
but wasn't to pleased with how the whole process worked. i didn't like the idea of having to go on south beach diet for 6weeks( I have done enough of those fad diets) then you come back then make appt to meet surgeon so what if I didn't like the surgeon and then I was to waist 2 months of my time. Where i am now you meet with surgeon first then yoor paper work gets sent to insurance company then you get surgery date.alot faster. I wish you a fast and speedy recovery.

OMG you sound just like me exactly one week ago tonight. My surgery was last Tuesday! I did all sorts of things around my house, making sure certain things were in order. You're gonna do just fine, like I did!
I can't wait to get back to playing the sports I did until about 4 yrs ago, too!
Good luck sweetie! See ya on the losers bench!
