Do you do the same menu everyday or is this just an example?? I'd like to have your recipe for the cottage cheese combo... That sounds interesting...(I'm from Texas - and I miss the spicy stuff - up here in NY) So, what are you stats ANDI ?? You said you were 11mos. Post op - I was disappointed that you don't have a profile up! (common girl! you can do that if I can!) Show off your success!! (it's actually REALLY easy to do the profile and upload pictures...I thought that was a bit easier than figuring out how to post! ) Can't wait to see more of your story Andi...and getting to know you thru your profile and post! that's just an example of my meal plan, i usually eat whatever i feel like it but i don't eat "breakfast foods" anymore i just treat it as another opportunity to get in my nutrional needs met. I just add jalapenos to my cottage cheese to give it more taste and bulk. He he he on the profile, i just choose not to have one. If you email me i'll give you all my stats. Be Well, ANDI

Protein has been tricky for me too....and I've gotten creative. One thing I love is RICOTTA cheese....(I know that sounds strange...but here's what I do...) I LOVE STRAWBERRIES....so I have a bowl of fresh strawberries w/ a little splenda...and then some "POLLY-O Fat Free Ricotta" - which has 10g of protein in 1/4C. Early on I did this 2x a day.... Then I snacked on String Cheese...which had about 6g. And some fish...which was pretty high in protein.... I also enjoy EAS pre-made Protein shakes...( on the EAS website there is a coffee/mocha flavor...I LOVE IT!) My girlfriend LisaMarie does her own version of "Protein Coffee" She does her regular coffee w/ some JRob Whey Protein mix and FF Hazelnut Creamer everyday... that gives 20g of protein in just one cup of coffee....it taste pretty great too if you are a coffee drinker! (The trick of it is to put it all in the magic bullet -b/c it mixes like no other!!) Wishing you the best of luck Tara!!! You can do it!!! Deborah~ Lap RNY - 4/19/06 333/190/150

Hi Tara! The Unjury chocolate protein powder is really good stirred into very warm (not HOT as the texture will change) coffee- a little mocha action going on! And their chicken broth protein powder is surprisingly good! 20gms in each. Good luck! Laurie
